Why Cuvée?

It's a term, used to describe a wine blended from a variety of grapes, that we've applied to our compilation of regional bands.

This CD showcases a fusion of musical genres from independent musicians across the Colorado Front Range. It allows the listener to experience a sampling of our regional talent and provides local artists a platform for their work.

Help keep culture alive by supporting these bands. Purchase their music. Go to their shows.

This CD will be available at Twist and Shout (Denver) and the Trident (Boulder).

Adventure Records’ Cuvée 5 is a well-selected cross-section of the recent upsurge of independent rock along Colorado’s front range. The songs range in tone from the warmly earnest “Clara” by John Common to the icily haunting daydream quality of Good Housekeeping’s “Above the Tide.” This compilation series has always been excellent, but this may be its best offering yet.
