Why Cuvée?

Cuvée is a wine term meaning blend or special wine lot. Instead of grape varietals, we have music bands. The album title is the result of a conceptual discussion with a wine sommelier.

The CD also features "Old Lady Head" on the cover who is the lovely product of local artist Matthew Doubek. Another objective of the Cuvée CD is to help raise awareness of local not profit organizations. Volume 1 is helping to raise the awareness of the Boulder-Dushanbe Sister City organization which is trying to obtain funding to build a Cyber Cafe for Boulder's Sister City Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
